Mr. Sundar Natraj (Founder) A visionary, academician and a faculty in various education institutions. The rationale behind starting the trust was, to give back something to society for what has been received by us. Most people feel gratified about being blessed with money, status and success. Very few acknowledge that all of it happens due to learning, knowledge and wisdom. The Belief that the founder has is that society has given us wealth of knowledge and this wealth must be shared with others so that they could benefit from the same.
He decided to embark on a mission to improve the status of women in society because women are yet a deprived species in India, still earning only with 20% of what a man earns but with capabilities to function at equal levels as any man. This disparity which society has imposed on them due to a patriarchal society deprives them of their thirst to learn and improve themselves and those around them in self-esteem, self-confidence and also generate income for the family additionally.
They thus lack the opportunity to do the same and lack the exposure. The Mr. Sundar Natraj who has been in teaching line and corporate for over 20 years has decided to devote his time and energy in improving the lot for women in lower income group In Mumbai city as a starting point.
The founder is an MBA from Mumbai University is teaches, English, behavioural skills, home management and self esteem improvements to beneficiaries free of cost at their dwellings. Having a vision and a passion to fulfil the tasks set by his mother to assist as many women as possible to change their lives, the entire trust has been formed with women with similar desires only
Ms Sonu Vandanaa Chhabra (Trustee) A eco-friendly products promoter. She exports product to countries which are into eco friendly products like jute, handicrafts, etc She has decided to devote her life only for welfare of women and girl child She has been the source of inspiration for many traumatized women, and has counselled them against suicide and start a new life. Her patients have been wives of Army officers who face a lot of stress dealing with the brutal behaviour of their spouses. Many of her patients have now started leading a happy and stress free life and have managed to handle pressures amicably. Her devotion to the welfare of women and girl child is unsurpassed.
Together the team enrols like minded people, who are invited to train and impart knowledge to women and girl child enabling them to realize their total potential and become an important force within the house hold,
Mr Sam Tripathi (Faculty) A passionate teacher, who has completed his MBA and is pursuing his doctorate,. He is has over 15 years experience in teaching and training. He teaches in various colleges and management institutes as lecturer
Ms. Gauri Mohan (Faculty) A teacher in English and communication skills in SNDT college and has special qualifications in handling women’s issues. She teaches English speaking, reading and writing for the targeted beneficiaries across all the centres
Ms. Rajshee (Faculty) A vocational skills trainer specializing in training women and girls in Beauty treatment. She is a certified trainer from SNDT University and trains for trainees of Prodigee foundation across all the centres. She teaches students on basic and higher level in beauty treatment. In addition she also provides references for students to visit their homes and do the beauty treatment in their homes.
Mr. Hanumantha (Advisor) He is an MSC in Chemistry and was in Research lab. He has given up his life's desires and has devoted his life and time to Social service and helps Prodigee's beneficiaries to secure placement and start micro enterprises for themselves apropos their training .He has over 12 years in Social work In Don Bosco .
Mrs. Sadhana Batham (Community Worker) Sadhana has over 16 years' experience in grass roots level working with women. She has conducted many projects for Don Bosco and has rehabilitated street children. She is passionate worker and has travelled across India. She has to her credit many certificates of merit for high proficiency in Social work. She is a teacher and reaches out to beneficiaries through personal touch
