Prodigee Foundation in collaboration with Ashankur holy family Centre conducts classes to promote the economic cause of women in the sorrounding areas.
The centre services around 8 slums in the periphery and caters to around 10000 families here.
The foundation has trained women in self esteem development areas through internal realization and role playing acts to emphasize the importance of being self-confident.
Communication skills within the home and in external exigencies were the epicentre of training for the dwellers, many of who face multiple problems compounded by growing poverty with in the household.
Some of the women face issues of drunkard husbands and wife beating, mother in law harassment, sexual abuse etc. resulting in low self esteem and poor self confidence.
The women and girl child were trained in emotional mastery, and also managing interpersonal skills at home and outside, Care was taken to train them on self motivation and use of technology.
Behavioural Skills enhancement and Self-Esteem Development Skills were conducted In Andheri east centre.

Clearly measureable differences were seen in the above mentioned.
The changes seen in women were measured through a 360 degree questionnaire method where in the pre training and post training changes were measure by asking questions to the family members to see the perceptible differences in each of them.
In Andheri east the following numbers of people have been trained in beauty parlour and are getting certified.
Beauty Parlour training was provided to women where hair-cutting, make-up, facial, threading etc were taught to the women.
The women participated with great enthusiasm and in the 1st Batch, 22 women benefited from session. The 1st batch was a great success, The 2nd batch is in progress.
