If his expense for fuel and maintenance is deducted at Rs.3000 per month, he is left with Rs.4800 to pay for rent, children’s education, food for the family, medical expenses, and any investment he has to make. Can he manage the home with this meagre income?

The family thus can make their ends meet only when the spouse also earns. But she is unskilled, has low self esteem and lacks exposure in external exigencies.
