In the camp organized on December 4th we organized a medical camp for the beneficiaries and the camp was focused for attending mainly to the health issues of women in that area.
The camp was attended to by a team of 4 doctors, headed by Dr. Prachi Bedekar (MD), Dr. Devang Kantharia (BHMS, CCH, CCSD, CVD) and others. The camp also had 2 compounders and additional doctor on standby.
Each patient was registered to understand the ailment and the same was submitted as case sheet to the doctors.
Each patient was sent to the specialist as per the symptoms shown revealed.
The doctors gave medicines for each ailment and in case there were further tests that had to be done, like Doppler and malaria parasite etc.
The patients were taken by road to Bachualli hospital in Wadala for free testing.
Subsequent follow up visits were made to the doctors clinic for further treatment for patients who needed prolonged treatment for ailment.
