Most of the dwellers are illiterate so the trainees had to be divided into 2 divisions- The completely illiterate who needed to be taught from alphabets.
- The team of dwellers who could read and write but with no fluency in speech and with very poor vocabulary
The basic course in English was taught with the help of visual aids and speech was taught through adequate amount of practise sessions and vocabulary build up.

The trainees who have been trained In English have been given tests as per education standards as the tests are being administered by teaching faculty from colleges.
These teaching faculties made sure that the participants feel comfortable and understand what was taught and most imortantly, they made sure that the participants used the learnings in their day to day life.
These English learning sessions were hugely accepted and loved by the participants.
