Counselling Sessions were held for women to brief them of how to conduct themselves within the families. Home makers living in the area attended the program me as this was targeted for them.
Domestic violence
Women living in the area have been subject to high levels of domestic violence. Families from lower income groups with a single earning member, having inadequate income and with men indulging in alcoholism, chain smoking. Women have been abused physically and been forced to contribute to the home front financially. These women have been counselled and their family members brought together to bring in peace at home and harmony at home.
12 women have complained of domestic violence, and family members have been counselled. This is a sensitive subject so many women do not come upfront openly to discuss the home issues.
Educational guidance
Career guidance for girls and women who have dropped out of school and college for readmission and private coaching for them to appear in SSC exams are being organized.
The girls who have dropped out of school and have been married off before completion is very high. Such girl child and women have been advised to appear for their SSC board exams and activities around securing their papers , formalities and securing admissions is an activity that has been performed

The SSC board exams are conducted in the month of March, preparations and tutorials were conducted for the women.
A formal tuition classes for each of the aspiring student will be commenced with adequate preparation for over a year planned shortly.
